Each contact with a human being is so rare, so precious, one should preserve it. — Anais Nin
We are located in downtown Portland in the historic Goose Hollow neighborhood at the Portland Scottish Rite Center. The Portland Scottish Rite Center is 2 blocks from both the Providence Park Metro Area Express (MAX) stops on SW 15th Ave. between SW Yamhill St. and SW Morrison St. The MAX red and blue lines run eastbound (red: City Center/Airport; blue: Gresham) on SW Yamhill St. and westbound (red: Beaverton TC; blue: Hillsboro) on SW Morrison St.
The entrance to the blue lodge room at the Portland Scottish Rite Center is located at 1525 SW Yamhill St. behind the Hotel DeLuxe (the building next door in the above picture).
The cornerstone for Portland Scottish Rite Center was laid in 1902 and the building was completed in 1904 — making it one of the oldest buildings in downtown Portland. It was the first building of it's kind designed specifically for the Scottish Rite.
All regular Masons are cordially invited to attend our events so if you are a sojourner; are a member wishing to re-connect with us or are visiting the Rose City, please consult our calendar and attend. You will be most welcome!
We do not receive postal mail at the Portland Scottish Rite Center!
